Taking Responsibility
It's quite normal to blame others for our situations and failures. However, it's more productive to search our own past and find what caused our faults.
Blaming others takes time and energy away from improving ourselves. We will never get ahead by blaming our problems on other people. When we blame and criticize others for the issues in our lives, we are avoiding some truths about ourselves. When we blame others, we give up our power to change.
Let us take charge of our own attitude. Don't blame anyone else. Our life is the fruit of our own doing. We have no one to blame but ourselves.
Learn to take responsibility for Your Life
Arise, for it is your task, and we are with you; be strong and do it- Ezra 10: 4
For we hear that some among you walk in idleness, not busy at work, but busybodies. Now such persons we command and encourage in the Lord Jesus Christ to do their work quietly and to earn their own living. As for you, brothers, do not grow weary in doing good. - 2 Thessalonians 3: 11
God has blessed us with the freedom of choice. We have in our hands the power to choose what we want in life. Every choice has a consequence. By not choosing, we are allowing life to go on without a deliberate intervention. That itself is a choice - we are deciding not to take sides, not to change path.
Don't let life go on in an auto-mode. By doing so, you are making a choice to let things be. So treasure the power of choice that God has given us.
Start today, by making simple good decisions that can change your life positively.
- Wake up early in the morning
- Pray for your family for 15 minutes every day
