God Is Able

Our God is able. He can do anything and everything. Let us reflect on what it means when we say that God is able. He is able

- to save us:

Wherefore he is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by him, seeing he ever lives to make intercession for them. - Hebrews 7:25

- to sanctify us:

And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. - 1 Thessalonians 5:23

- to keep that which we've committed:

For the which cause I also suffer these things: nevertheless I am not ashamed: for I know whom I have believed, and am persuaded that he is able to keep that which I have committed unto him against that day. - 2 Timothy 1:12

- to answer prayer:

Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us. - Ephesians 3:20

- to fulfill His promises:

And being fully persuaded that, what he had promised, he was able also to perform. - Romans 4:21

- to deliver:

Then was Nebuchadnezzar full of fury, and the form of his visage was changed against Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego: Therefore he spoke and commanded that they should heat the furnace one seven times more than it was wont to be heated. - Daniel 3:19

- to keep us from falling:

Now unto him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy. - Jude 1:24

Thus, God is indeed able to meet to meet every need that we have. Perhaps today we may need something from God. Let us understand that He is able and ready to provide what we require if it is in alignment with the word of God. We have a God who can do miracles and change our situations overnight. Hence be strengthened and encouraged. God is Able.
