The Choice We Make

This passion week, let us ask ourselves, "If I had been in Jerusalem on Palm Sunday, and seen the two processions passing by, which would I have chosen to follow?" I assure you, those who watched that day had to choose.

They had to decide whether to serve the god of this world, full of might and power; or to serve the king of a very different kind of kingdom, the Kingdom of God. 

That is the same decision we make each day. And often,

• We choose power and authority over love.
• We choose "the way things are done" over "the way God intends them to be."

The kingdom of Jesus means love, humility and serving others. Are we ready for this kingdom?

Let us make the right choice, and be ready for his kingdom.
